The news of August 2007: Emergency in Peru
The dramatic situation lived in the day 15 of August of 2007 due to the series of seísmos and floods produced in the region of Ica, Peru, caused that quickly we mobilized ourselves to obtain the quick answer to such situation.
The zone periodically has seismic risks of diverse consideration that affect to infrastructures and the lives of the people. In particular, this region is considered of high risk, as it is seen in the following seismic map.
By it, we started up summoning an Extraordinary Campaign of collection of Bottoms between all our partners and supporters, whom it gave as result the Project of Humanitarian Aid Earthquake In Peru by an amount near the 17.000? of that 15.000? they correspond to the shared in common contribution of our city council of Alcorcón, through the Council of Social welfare and Cooperation and its Excma Councilwoman. We worked in the zone with the Civil Association Redesperu that acts like ours contraparte and is the one that it indicates to us as they are the necessities of the population afectada.
